Signs

     Once you open yourself up to communicate with the angels, they will likely respond by sending signs that can be difficult to interpret without prior knowledge. As a result, I have created a list of the most common messages the divine sends to our world.

Natural World

Angels love sending messengers like animals and insects to remind us that they are near. This can manifest through repeatedly seeing the same creatures, seeing them in large groups, or having them become very drawn to you. 

For instance, I have been seeing crows appear around me for weeks. It started with two cawing in the tree outside my house, then I went to work and there was one perched on the beam of the parking garage, finally I went for a walk in the park and there was an entire flock circling above me! Because this occurred several times, across multiple different settings, and with various birds I knew to interpret it as a sign.

Other People

Believe it or not, people are commonly used as a conduit for the heavenly realms. Instances like this usually happen through kind interactions and overheard conversations. Perhaps the person in front of you at the drive thru pays for your meal or you hear encouraging words being exchanged between strangers- these are strong indicators that there is a divine force at work.

Objects

The divine often communicate with us through objects as well. The object itself varies and it is ultimately up to the receiver to decide on the message, but some common ones associated with angels are white feathers and coins. 

Dreams

In general, dreams give individuals an incredible amount of insight about themselves and their unconscious mind. As a result, divine beings love reaching out in this way.  In fact, dreams provide a gateway for angels to send specific messages one might not see in their waking world. For instance, sometimes I dream about having entire conversations with angels while other times I dream about simply living on a farm with cows. While the latter might seem unimportant, I interpret cows as a sign that I am on the right path, therefore when I repeatedly dream of them, I know the angels are sending me a reminder of that. 

Numbers

Another way that the divine tends to make contact with us is through the use of numbers. This is because numbers are at the core of existence and each number holds different meanings. I intend to unpack this further in my next post, but for now I will provide an example. 

Imagine you are driving down the street and you see a license plate that says "ABC888", you then drive past a billboard and the phone number is "888-888", lastly you drive past a house and the address is "13888". Because of the frequency in which this number appeared, it is likely this was a sign. 

Unexpected Messages

The last way angels usually communicate with us is through unexpected messages such as songs, billboards, t shirts, etc. The possibilities are endless! While this method coincides with the previously mentioned ones, I will still provide an example. 

Recently I was listening to a podcast in which the speaker said he was fed up with his life and asked for a sign, he said that in that moment a song began to play in the bar he was at, and the lyrics were "it's only up from here" which he interpreted as exactly what he needed to hear in the moment.

Now that we have gone over the most common signs, I would like to add that the key to all of this is to let the messages find you. Not everything has to be a sign, in fact most things aren't, this is where one's intuition comes in. Mastery of the mundane will act as a guide to the magickal.
